Cinema is more than entertainment - it is a mirror of society, politics, dreams, and human emotion. From silent films to modern blockbusters, American film history tells the story of innovation, creativity and social change.
This course invites students to explore how the United States became one of the most influential forces in global cinema. Through iconic films, groundbreaking directors, legendary actors, and major historical movements, students will discover how film evolved into a powerful art form and cultural industry.
